How To Summon The Universe

Authentic Living with Gina Charles, beyond mindfulness is Authenticity, Summon the UniverseIs there some kind of incantation or metaphysical bat signal to summon help from the Universe? Is there a way to call forth Providence and his sister Serendipity to ask for a leg up?

There is something that I can do to tap into the support and guidance of the Universe. It’s an innate ability, one often underused and overlooked.

It is overlooked because most of the time, most of our attention and focus is caught up in the whirlwind of unmonitored thinking and rote behaviors.

It is in this unaware, unconscious state, submersed in unnoticed, unexamined thought and beliefs, that the mind’s reasoning lures us away from activating our power and the power of the Universe.

 

Luckily, reasoning does not equal Truth.

 

So what is this magnificent miracle-launcher?

Self-Kindness

 

Authentic Living with Gina Charles, beyond mindfulness is Authenticity, Summon the UniverseYes, self-kindness. The simple thing so easy to understand, and yet so seemingly difficult to do. Have you ever contemplated what your life might be like if you treated yourself as you do your most beloved? You’d approach everything with your highest good in mind, not like you’re trying to get away with it, but like it’s your job, your right, your privilege.

Don’t let the mind reason you away from your own power by spewing its fear-based reasoning on why you should make an unkind choice for yourself. If you get the short end of the stick it should never be on purpose.

Give it a try. Start small. Baby step your way to being self-kind, self-considerate. You have nothing to lose by trying it.

What you will gain is a trustworthy, I’ve-got-your-back relationship with Self. The kind that bumps this human experience up to a human adventure. An adventure rife with miracles, and helpful people, places and things, in a Universe that rises to meet you.

 

Choosing what is self-kind, summons the Universe.

Providence and his sister Serendipity ride in on the wind, asking what took you so long.

 

Self-kindness.

 

Sprinkle a little of THAT on each day, and let the magic begin.

Trust Life

Trust Life. That saying is so cliche. But have you ever gone beyond understanding the definition of the words and really tried it? 

Have you ever had a wordless hunch about something and followed it wholeheartedly, with your inner arms wide open, no questions asked?

Have you ever recognized a blessing in disguise BEFORE the big reveal, and just went with the flow no matter how muddy it seemed to get?

If you have had these or similar experiences, then you have gone beyond the mere definition of words, and have connected with your own power.

 

This is LIVING Trust.

 

Going beyond understanding trust into living it, is Authentic living. The best part of stepping out of your comfort zone into Authentic living, is the magic it generates. Serendipitous events pop up. Great ideas pop in. And sometimes you recognize the Universe rising to meet you.

 

So, trust Life.

It’s free.

You’re worth it.

 

Any reason to not do it, is a fear-based lie. Accept what the thinking mind offers, and question your way out. It’s time to do things differently. It’s time to try something new. It’s time to wake up in our own lives.

 

EMPOWERMENT:

3 Empowering Questions To Jump Start Your Day

Power Questions: Blast Off - Authentic Living with Gina Charles

 

Blast Off

I love my empowering questions. Asking them is like drop-kicking myself into the field of infinite possibility. These questions disengage the mind’s fear-based mental banter that is the prelude to all feel-bad.

 

Are You Talking To Me?

When the mind asks a question, it jumps ahead to automatically assume that it must also contemplate, surmise, figure out or reason the answer. That’s exactly NOT how asking yourself empowering questions work.

The key is to ask the question and wait for a response to rise independently from within. Ask it like you would a rhetorical question. The idea is to let higher Intelligence answer, not the thinking mind. Ask, and let it go. Ask, and watch what happens.

 

Using My Tools

When I use empowering questions first thing in the morning, they kick in like personal rocket fuel, and change the whole trajectory of my day. Many times in undeniable and feel-great ways.

I notice that great ideas pop in, and realizations that keep me cool, calm and collected. I even notice unexpected, serendipitous events. I see stuff happening FOR me rather than BY me. Stuff outside of the same old memorized behaviors. When I notice new or different things happening, that’s a confirmation that I am using my tools, and tapping into higher Intelligence. This tells the mind that the universe has my back.

  1. Today, how can I get and stay motivated?

  2. How can today be easy, effortless and ENJOYABLE?

  3. How can (today or a situation) turn out better than I ever imagined?

The Promise Of Your Problems

Problems are like the little paddles in a pin ball machine, that influence and guide the ball one way or the other. If the paddle hits the ball just right, it can propel the ball in an advantageous direction. You’re the little ball, and your problems are the paddles that guide you one way or the other.

 

What determines your direction is your state of being.

 

If you are submersed in unexamined thought, you mistake the “problem” as threatening, or as an obstacle. This creates resistance and a feel-bad experience. 

 

Problems and Conscious expansion with Gina Charles

Let’s look through the eyes of opportunity. A problem may be an opportunity to take a stand, or to choose what feels right, over what is expected or easy. A problem is a sign post. A problem is an opportunity to choose what is self-kind. Identifying and honoring your truth is the best place to begin. Honoring your truth always propels you in the most powerful direction.

 

 

Ask questions

 

Ask questions, then wait in silence for the answer to emerge independently from within. The mind must wait for the gut to answer. The questions are to be weighed in the body, not the mind.

 

  • What is this “problem” trying to tell you?

  • Is it moving you toward a new course?

  • Is it trying to get you to acknowledge what is true for you, and to move toward honoring that?

  • What else is true about the situation that you are omitting, overlooking or denying?

  • What role are you playing in it?

  • What can you learn? 

 

When you realize, not reason, the answers to some of these questions, the problem transforms itself. Once you get its message, you no longer need the problem.

 

Problems are escorts to new levels of Consciousness.

Authentic Change

Authentic change and conscious expansion with Gina CharlesWe desperately want change in our lives. We’re out there making one effort after the next, only to find that we are running in place.

 

We all know the meaning of insanity, doing the same things and expecting different results. So we switch things up, and try new things. How is it that we push, and nothing seems to move?

 

Somehow, some way, we are having the same thoughts and emotions, supported by the same unnoticed, underlying beliefs. The same programming, the same outcomes. The Universe likes to keep it simple.

 

While we’re running unawares in the same patterns and programs, the subsequent emotions are emitting vibes. Those vibes are telling the Universe that you want more life experiences that match that vibe.

 

What we think is how we feel, and what we feel is what we get.

 

The kicker is that we are so focused on having thought that we don’t notice it.

 

You can never fix a leak if you don’t know where it is. You’ll just spend your life cleaning up after it. 

 

When you practice being the eyewitness to thought, you notice the programming. You are then free to create authentic change, by moving your focus out of the chatty mind, and into lucidity.

 

When you are present, and perceive life with no mental evaluation, you are lucid.

 

When you jump out of the confines of thought, into lucidity, you connect with your Guidance, higher Intelligence, Intuition, Self, Consciousness, God. You step into that field of boundless possibility.

Turn Down The Static, Turn Up The Guidance

Turning down the unnecessary, unfounded, negative static of the thinking mind, allows us to better hear and feel our own Guidance. 

 

The first step is to notice thought.

Catch thought in action, while it’s chattering in unnoticed, unexamined banter. Now quiet the mind and move its focus to the body. Put your mentally quiet focus on your breathing for a moment. Then move your wordless focus to how you feel in your skin, or notice an aroma, or breeze or other stimuli of the present moment. Ground your wordless focus in the present moment. Listen quietly, wordlessly. 

 

Perceive without mental evaluation. 

 

This is the place from which we can hear the whispers of inner Guidance.

Guidance, that is always pointed in the direction of our highest good.

Guidance, that is always patiently waiting for us to wake up out of the unnoticed, negative mental banter.

 

EMPOWERMENT: Today I will turn down the mental static, and connect with inner Guidance.

Clearing The Projector Of The Thinking Mind

How’s The Ride?

As I begin this week, I remind the thinking mind that any one of my endeavors will turn out only as good as the quality of the experience I had completing it.

 

Authentic Living with Gina Charles. Beyond mindfulness is Authenticity. Learned behavior, thoughts, beliefs, mind

 

 Everything is being evaluated through the filters of the thinking mind.

We experience the tasks at hand through rote thought and learned behaviors. Eventually the mind drifts into negative thinking, and we wonder why we feel bad and our endeavors turn sour.

 

When you lose touch with inner stillness, you lose touch with yourself. -Eckhart Tolle

 

I will begin this week as the Eyewitness to thought. I will connect with inner Stillness, higher Intelligence, Self. I will step into the space of boundless possibility.

Now that feels good.  :)

Pulling The Plug On Anxiety

Healing anxiety, Authentic living and spiritual growth with Gina CharlesWhen my insides started ringing like the bells of a five-alarm fire, I didn’t know what was happening. That strong, engulfing feeling of anxiety rose up like a life-threatening wave, sweeping me away from the inside. The first time I experienced this, it took my breath away, literally.

The experience of anxiety comes in different forms and degrees, from pangs of uneasiness, to outright, full-blown panic attacks. For some, anxiety travels with us over the years. It is always uncomfortable, and sometimes experienced as extreme and unannounced. This causes us to live in fear, and avoidance.

Eventually the thinking mind says things like, This is just the way it is for me…This is just how I am… Just the way life is… I’m cursed… inflicted …. broken. This is the mind’s way of saying that it doesn’t know why it experiences anxiety, it only knows that it does.

 

The Constant

If living with occasional anxiety has become a way of life, even intermittently, there must be a constant. Some thing that allows, makes, beckons, invites, or creates the experience of anxiety, to any degree and frequency.

 

There must be a cause for the effect of anxiety.

 

When I stick my hand into an open flame, I have the experience of being burned. So, no matter how many ways fire can enhance my life, when I don’t recognize the truth of the moment, I can have a feel-bad experience. While fire is good, holding my hand in an open flame is not.

 

While thought is good, falling submersed in it is not. So, no matter how many ways thinking can enhance my life, when I don’t recognize the truth of the moment, I can have a feel-bad experience. 

 

Living in unnoticed, unfounded, unexamined thinking is the prerequisite for the experience of anxiety.

 

Therein lies the constant: thinking, believing and rerunning triggered programs and reactions, over and over again, over the years. Different places, different faces, and underneath it all, the same constant of being submersed in unnecessary, feel-bad thought. This is why every so often this unrecognized speeding train stops at the same old station, Anxiety Alley.

Autopilot Disengaged

 

There are 2 states of being. You are lucid, present in a mentally quiet moment, outside of the perpetual, unnoticed, unfounded, unexamined mental commentary. Or, you are sleepwalking, unconscious, or simultaneously having and believing unassessed thought. 

 

You are either submersed in thought unawares, or you are witnessing it.

 

Is it difficult to stop doing what you have been doing on autopilot for so long? Sure, but no more difficult than the many other new things you’ve learned. Is it possible? You bet your life it is.

 

The mind is the ultimate computer. It is not only able to recognize its own programming, it is also capable of reprograming itself. When we wake up to this dynamic, AKA metacognitive thought, or the experience of the program recognizing itself, it puts us in a new position. A position of power. A position of authentic change.

 

Who said reprogramming is such a grueling task? The mind did. The mind jumps ahead and slaps down a decision without ever even knowing if what it’s saying is true. Can positive change be difficult? As the eyewitness to thought, I recognize the importance and specificity of questions. The question, “Can positive change be difficult?”, is a segue into unconsciousness.

 

The question is, how can positive, authentic change be easy, effortless, and dare I say, enjoyable? 

 

Using Your Superpower

 

How can we bridge the gap between feeding anxiety and healing anxiety? How can we wake ourselves up when we are sleepwalking, submerged in unfounded, unnecessary thought? There is a practice that can bridge this gap. Being the eyewitness to thought.

 

Noticing thought is your superpower.

 

When we slow down the crazy train, we can bring it to a stop and arrive at authentic change, healing and peace. It all starts with this one concept, this one practice, this one intention. Intend and allow yourself to become the eyewitness to the mind’s thoughts. 

 

Witness thought as if someone else had said it, and discard thoughts that are unkind to self, and those that do not serve. Refocus in lucidity, or redirect your attention to positive thought.

 

While the truth is always simple, it isn’t always easy. I’d rather make these small efforts than experience the tap on the shoulder called anxiety. Suffering is only inevitable in unconsciousness. Suffering is the byproduct of the mind’s unnoticed, unexamined, unfounded fear-based thinking.

 

Suffering is optional.

 

It’s only unnerving to fly without a net when you don’t know how to go with the flow. Start now. Start slow. Start small. Start. Intend to be the eyewitness to thought and its old programming of churning and burning. The question is not, Can you? The question is, Will you? 

 

Intend to be the eyewitness to thought. Intend to let go of unnecessary thinking and step into the peace of a quiet mind. Intend to let self-kindness lead the way.

 

EMPOWERMENT: Anxiety is the internal roar of unconsciousness. I witness, accept, flow and awaken
