The Pond

If we don't realize there is a shore (Consciousness) we spend our lives swimming back and forth between the feel-bad and the feel-good side of life.  -Gina Charles

I’ve designated three areas of the pond. There is the inner circle, the outer circle, and the shore. The inner circle contains the dark, cold, feel-bad waters. This is not a good swim, and when we are there we really don’t want to be. The inner circle is filled with life events we label “bad” or “painful.”The outer circle of the pond contains the clear, warm, feel-good water. This is where we all want to be. The outer circle of the pond is filled with life events we label “good” or “happy.”Both the inner and outer circles represent the thinking mind.Lastly, there’s the shore. The shore is Consciousness. It is where we find our abundant, everlasting well of Source. It is where your Higher Self/Soul is holding the compass to your best life.If we don’t realize there is a shore (Consciousness) we spend our lives swimming back and forth between the feel-bad and the feel-good side of life where discomfort, as well as happiness, is a temporary experience.I'll meet you on the Shore. ;) [fblike]
