What To Do When You Hit The Hump

I got off to a good start this morning, feeling energetic and focused. But it was short-lived and I now feel like I'm walking uphill.

I just noticed that today is Wednesday, which invites the thought that I’ve hit the hump and it’s all uphill from here.

Luckily, I noticed that thought and I realized that if I believe that ridiculous, unfounded belief I'd set myself up for a crappy day. 

So, what to do?…

Noticing thought makes all the difference, so I'm off to a good start! I’m now back in the driver’s seat and can dump that feel-bad and opt for something that feels better. I will choose FOR me. I can take a brisk walk while I think about how I’m going to smack down the rest of my day easily and effortlessly. Or, I can get myself a good, healthy breakfast.

We live in a field of infinite possibility and the only way to disconnect ourselves from it is to fall sleepwalking into unfounded, unnecessary thought.

  • Have a cup of coffee

  • Do a few jumping jacks

  • Think of 3 things that made you laugh so hard you almost wet your pants.

That’s it! Go ahead, you have to power to change your state!

Once you change states into present moment, feel-good awareness, point the mind to what empowers you.

  • Think of a time when you felt unstoppable.

  • Feel what it feels like to be full of energy

  • Use your power of intention to have eagle-eye focus and stamina

  • Play What If? What if everything I came in contact with today I felt on "top of", instead of "underneath of"?!

That’s the magic juice right there!

EMPOWERMENT:

When we change our state of being, we change our life experience.
