The Power of Emotion
Is emotion propelling you forward in life, or holding you back? Learn how emotions can set you free.
Emotions are part of the human experience. Sometimes they seem to derail us.
These are the emotions that need our attention the most.
What does the emotion want?
It wants to be acknowledged, sat with, observed, but mostly it wants to be silently felt.
The emotion wants your silent, undivided attention until it peaks and melts away.
The emotion wants your mind’s silent, undivided attention so that you don’t fall back into a story.
Doing this enables the energy of the emotion to run its natural course. In watching the emotion peak and dissipate, outside of any mental story, the emotional energy transmutes, and flies free. It completes its natural cycle.
When we practice allowing emotion to flow, we release what's weighing us down.
We start living our lives on purpose instead of living our lives avoiding what hurts.
This practice teaches the mind that emotion is nothing to fear.
Use your tools, feel your feels, and fly free.
